On the afternoon of April 14, Ying Huang,Associate Professor of Accounting from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD),visited the Business School of Soochow University. Professor Tao Xu,Vice Dean of the Business School, and Professor Zhongsheng Zhou,Vice Dean of the Business School, met with the guest on the East Campus.

Professor Tao Xu expressed his welcome to the delegation from UTD on behalf of the Business School of Soochow University. He noted that through several previous virtual meetings, both parties had already established a positive intention for collaboration and hoped that this in-person meeting would help clarify the specific details of the cooperation. Professor Ying Huang, representing the Naveen Jindal School of Management, reiterated her high regard for Soochow University and strong confidence in the collaboration.

During the meeting, both parties discussed plans to initiate collaboration through master's-level degree programs, based on the content of previous discussions. Through in-depth conversations, they reached further consensus on various aspects of the master's-level degree programs, including program directions, course alignment, application timelines, and recruitment promotion. Next, both parties plan to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and a formal cooperation agreement. Looking ahead, they also aim to expand their collaboration into undergraduate degree programs, faculty and student exchanges, and joint research initiatives.
