In the afternoon of March 5th, the 2025 Spring Semester Faculty and Staff Meeting of the School of Business and Teacher Ethics Warning Education Conference was successfully held in the Lecture Hall of the Finance and Science Museum. Liu Zhiming first conveyed the meeting spirit of the 13th Sixth Plenary Session of the Party Committee of the universityandthe cadre conference of the whole university and the mobilization meeting of the provincial party committee inspection and rectification work. He pointed out that the college should adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, earnestly study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the spirit of the National Education Conference, adhere to and strengthen the overall leadership of the party over the work of the college, firmly grasp the fundamental task of cultivating people with moral integrity and the primary task of high-quality development, and carry out the study and education of the party discipline in a solid manner. Executive Dean Deng Tianhu reviewed the achievements of the college discipline construction and scientific research in 2024, and encouraged all teachers to actively publish high-level papers in the new semester, improve the winning rate of national projects, and build a high-level scientific research and innovation matrix; at the same time, focusing on the cultivation of doctoral students, and strengthening the construction of disciplines.
Vice President Xu Tao introduced the progress of AACSB accreditation and BGA accreditation promotion plan. He said that the efforts of the faculty and staff are indispensable for the college to further promote international cooperation and exchange, and international education cooperation to empower the college high-quality development.
Vice President Zhou Zhongsheng put forward new requirements on the improvement of undergraduate talent cultivation. He stressed that it is necessary to strengthen the importance of undergraduate dissertation guidance, closely focus on the fundamental task of establishing moral character, pay attention to the construction of teachers, and improve the high-quality education and teaching system.
Vice President Wang Youyu made a working deployment for the scientific research work of the college and the construction of professional degree postgraduate programmes. Teachers of the college are encouraged to actively declare all kinds of scientific research projects, carefully polish the declaration of scientific research projects, and improve the scientific research level of the college. Actively promote AAPEQ accreditation and CAMEA accreditation to improve the quality of professional degree postgraduate training in the college; at the same time, encourage teachers and students to carry out case studies, improve the reward mechanism for case submissions, and efficiently promote the expansion of educational resources.
