On the morning of April 24, Cao Jiqun, Secretary of the General Party Branch of Liaoning University Graduate School, Zhao Deqi, Dean of Asia-Australia Business School , Wang Xiaohui, Dean of Xinhua International Business School, Ma Yali, Vice Dean of AABS, and Zhang Weiwei, Executive Director of the Quality Control Centre of NIBS, visited Soochow University School of Business. Deng Tianhu, Executive Dean of the School, Huang Xiaohui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of the School, Wang Yaoyu, Vice Dean and Director of MBA Centre, Xu Tao, Vice Dean of the School, and Ma Longjian, a full-time member of the Party Committee and Discipline Inspection Committee, took part in the discussion and exchange of ideas.

On behalf of the college, Deng Tianhu welcomed the visit of Liaoning University and briefly reported the construction and development of the college. He expected that under the challenges of business education in China's new era, both sides could have in-depth discussions on China's higher business education and contribute to the high-quality development of China's higher business education.

Cao Jiqun expressed his sincere thanks for the warm reception of the Business School and introduced the development history and construction of Liaoning University and the Graduate School as well as some of the projects that have been cooperated with Soochow University. He hoped that with this exchange as an opportunity, the two sides could carry out closer cooperation in talent cultivation and co-operation in running schools.

Zhao Deqi pointed out that the development concepts of Asia-Australia Business School of Liaoning University and Business School of Soochow University in Chinese-foreign co-operation and international accreditation are compatible, and he believed that both sides have a lot of valuable experience to learn from each other in the process of this exchange.

Wang Xiaohui briefly introduced the enrolment situation, scale of school running and professional settings of NUIST, which has been committed to exploring the cultivation of high-level composite international talents since its establishment, and this exchange is also a valuable opportunity for both sides to communicate and learn from each other.

Xu Tao introduced the progress of Soochow University Business School in international exchanges and cooperation in four aspects: vision and mission, international accreditation process of global business schools, cooperation with high-level universities outside China and the development of Chinese-foreign cooperative academic programmes. He pointed out that the visit of the experts was an affirmation of our work in Chinese-foreign cooperative education and international accreditation.

During the symposium, the two sides had a warm exchange and discussion on the innovative path of Sino-foreign cooperative education, the cutting-edge trend of cross-fertilisation between business and other innovative disciplines, and the experience of integrating the internationalisation of business with China's major needs.
