On the morning of May 9, Professor Tomáš Tichý from the Faculty of Economics of the VSB-Technical University Ostrava (VSB-TUO) of the Czech Republic visited Business School Soochow University. Professor Tao Xu, Vice Dean of the Business School, met with the guest on the East Campus.
Professor Xu expressed a warm welcome on behalf of the Business School for the return visit of Professor Tichý. Both parties shared updates on the development of their respective universities and schools and expressed a strong interest in continuing collaboration. Professor Tichý thanked the Business School for its help in this visit and noted that VSB-TUO attaches great importance to its cooperation with Soochow University, regarding it as one of its key partner institutions.
Through in-depth discussions, the two parties reached a consensus on cooperation in student and staff exchange programs. Next, they plan to sign a memorandum of understanding and specific cooperation agreements to formally launch the cooperation as soon as possible.
