On the afternoon of May 29, Business School Workshop: Sharing of Overseas Study Experience and Development of Business Talents was held at the Economics and Finance Hall on the East Campus. Dongyue Tracy Yang, a lecturer in accounting at the University of Canberra and director of the Bachelor of Commerce program, served as the keynote speaker to share guidance on studying abroad. About 30 students majoring in Master of Professional accounting and Bachelor of International Economics and Trade from the Business School attended the workshop.
Tracy Yang began with her own overseas study experience and introduced the challenges and opportunities students might encounter during the process of studying abroad. Subsequently, she used the University of Canberra as an example to show students how they can leverage the university's support to overcome difficulties in various aspects of their overseas experience, including academics, job searching, and daily life. Finally, Tracy Yang also introduced the specific branches of business majors and career development prospects, encouraging students to actively participate in various activities and internships to gain practical experience and prepare for future job hunting.
